10 COMMON THINGS TO KNOW, TO WHICH YOU CAN BE ALLERGIC

Allergy can be termed as an exaggerated response of the immune system, often to common substances such as foods or pollen. Therefore people who have allergies often are sensitive to more than one thing. The substances which causes allergies are called as Allergens which  are foreign to the body. Sometimes many individuals outgrow allergies over time, allergies can also develop at any age, including during adulthood. There are many types of allergies such as food allergies, seasonal allergies, pet allergies, etc. In most of the cases environment plays a crucial role in allergy development, if a person has a family history of allergy then, there is a greater risk of developing allergic conditions. 
Allergies can ultimately cause a variety of symptoms which includes a runny nose, sneezing, itching, rashes, swelling, or asthma, etc. Allergies can be from minor to severe. A severe reaction that can be life-threatening is called as Anaphylaxis. Doctors and medical practitioners use skin and blood tests from Diagnostic Centre to check for allergies. Treatments mostly include medicines, allergy shots, and strictly avoiding all those substances that cause the allergic reactions.

Milk Allergy : This is kind of the commonly found allergy for which reactions can be immediate wheezing, vomiting, and hives.
Egg Allergy : Especially allergies to egg whites are most commonly found in children than in adults and also, reactions range from mild to severe.
Chocolate : Yes, in very few cases, individuals are actually allergic to chocolate. This is common in people who are already suffering from allergy to other food items such as milk, nuts and eggs.
Perfumes and Fragrances: Unwanted Scents : This has been observed specially in teenagers. Perfume fragrances are one of the most common reason of contact allergies in adults, and this type of allergy is on the rise.
Beauty Products and Cosmetics : cosmetics allergic reactions can be induced by fragrance allergies, but there is possibility that it can also be caused by preservatives used in cosmetics. Skin irritation is a frequent problem at the site of contact with cosmetics and may be experienced by anyone, but allergic reactions such as redness, swelling, and hives tend to occur in people who are allergic to specific ingredients, like formaldehyde,thimerosal,etc. Another surprising allergen is wet nail polish, the most common cause of eyelid dermatitis.
Your Shoes: Leather Allergy : If you get a poison rash on your feet after wearing leather shoes, there can be possibility for allergic to chemicals used in the leather tanning process.
Household Solvents and Adhesives : Household products that may cause skin allergies include solvents and adhesives. Cyanoacrylate, a common household adhesive found in superglues, can cause an allergic reaction.
Bed shits : Allergy due to dust mites which are microscopic critters feeding on the dead skin of humans. Their faces contains enzymes which can produce itching, sneezing, running nose and watery eyes. 
Plants at Home : Mold is common household allergen. It can grow on the leaves or over watered soil, releasing mold spores into air. Inhaling these mold spores can lead to trouble breathing, coughing and eye irritations.
Seasonal Temperature Fluctuation : Exposure of the skin to higher cold temperature causes redness, swelling and itching, etc.
